In these chapters Natalie is understanding less of where her "old" friends are coming from, and relating more to those she comes in contact with regularly at her new school. Tell me a time when you were confused about "what you were used to", which then pushed you to understand something else more clearly. I know relating to Natalie is difficult as far as her vision issues, but what about being "confused as a teenager?
Well, I am usually confused about a lot of things, wether it be school work, swimming, or life. In school, I would forget when something is due. Then I would look back and remember, but then my friends would tell me different. In swimming, my coach would correct my stroke. After a while, I would revert back to my "old" stroke, and my coach would get mad and correct me again. But sometimes I have no idea what he is talking about. After a while, I would understand what my coach was talking about. It is difficult to relate to Natalie because she is losing her vision. But as a "confused teenager" it is very easy. Natalie and I get confused about a lot of things, mostly about life.
